DNA and RNA Modifications
MIDLAND offers more than 100 DNA and RNA modifications. A modification is defined as any chemical entity covalently attached to synthetic DNA or RNA exclusive of the four major nucleotides present in each. Availability and price of many modifications are dependent upon supply of chemical materials and patent license agreements. Accordingly, certain modifications that have been described in the technical literature may not be available. However, over 100 modifications are routinely available.
